This past June, Yavapai College offered a Raku Kiln Building Workshop with Carol Commins and Jane Belew. Fifteen students built and fired eleven kilns in just two days. Carol and Jane did a fabulous job creating, preparing and running the workshop.

The following pictures were taken this past weekend when potter friends gathered to try out my new Raku kiln, now set up at my studio. We did four firings with good results and lots of fun.
